THE SUN WILL SHINE

Dark tonight
With no light
Hope is gone
“Should we run?”
Huddled together
Our weapons are scattered
“Let’s keep praying
Let’s keep hoping”
Nowhere to turn
“Where is the sun?”
Just then we sight
A little light
A faint ray
That heralds day
We smile for joy
Like a little boy
“Here is a sign
The sun will shine”
